1. Overview

Joy of Life LLC, which owns and operates eZpZ 360 ("we," "us," "our," the "Company," or "Joy of Life LLC"), is committed to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and security of information about our users. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how we collect, use, disclose, share and secure the personal information you provide when you use our expense management and mileage tracking mobile application (the "Service" or "App").

Privacy-First Design: eZpZ 360 is designed with privacy as a core principle. Most of your data—including all expense records, mileage logs, and financial information—is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers. We collect only the minimal information necessary to provide authentication and improve the App.

By using the eZpZ 360 Service, you confirm that you have read and acknowledged the terms of this Privacy Policy and understand our practices around the collection, storage, use and disclosure of your Personal Data.

Cloud Backup is off by default and entirely opt‑in. When enabled, your app data is backed up to your own cloud account — iCloud Drive on iOS or Google Drive on Android. We, Joy of Life LLC, do not own or see your backup data and no copy is stored on our servers.

Location Data (Stays on Your Device): GPS location data for mileage tracking is collected and stored only on your device. This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third parties. You maintain complete control over your location history.

Receipt Processing: When you scan a receipt, the image is temporarily sent to Google Gemini AI for text extraction and categorization. Important: No personal information (such as your name, email, account details, or other identifying information) is shared with Gemini or any other API provider. Only the receipt image itself is sent for processing. The receipt image is processed immediately and not stored by us or by Google beyond the processing session. The extracted text (merchant name, amount, date) is stored locally on your device only.

PDF Processing: Similar to receipt processing, when you process PDFs through the app, the document is sent only to the necessary API provider for processing. No personal identifying information is included with PDF submissions. Processed PDFs are not retained by us or by third-party providers.

4. Use of Personal Data

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Minimal Data Sharing: Joy of Life LLC does not share your Personal Data with third-party service providers. We are committed to minimal data collection and do not sell, share, or rent your information.

Receipt Processing Exception: The only data sent outside our app is receipt images, which are temporarily transmitted to Google Gemini AI for the purpose of extracting text (merchant name, amount, date). These receipt images are processed immediately and not stored by Google or retained by us beyond the processing session.

Legal Compliance: We may disclose your Personal Data when required by law, to comply with court orders, valid governmental requests, or when necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of Joy of Life LLC, our users, or the public.

No Data Sales: Joy of Life LLC will never sell, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer your Personal Data to third parties for any purpose, including marketing, advertising, or data mining.

Joy of Life LLC implements comprehensive technical, administrative, and physical security measures to protect your Personal Data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

7. Data Retention

Your Local Data (On Your Device): All expense records, mileage logs, tax data, and financial information stored on your device is retained as long as you choose to keep it. You have complete control over deletion of this data. eZpZ 360 never stores this information on our servers.

Account Deletion: Upon your request to delete your account, we will delete your email address and all associated data on our servers within 30 days. Your local data on your device is not affected and remains under your control.

Receipt Images: Receipt images are not stored. They are temporarily transmitted to Google Gemini AI for processing and are deleted after the processing session completes.

9. Children's Privacy

The eZpZ 360 Service is not intended for users under the age of 13. Joy of Life LLC does not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with Personal Data, we will immediately delete such information. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account or provided Personal Data to us, please contact us immediately via the Contact Support form.

10. International Data Transfers

Your Personal Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers are located. By using the eZpZ 360 Service, you consent to the transfer of your Personal Data to countries outside your country of residence, which may have different data protection laws than your home country.

How do I delete my account and data?

Go to Support → Contact Support and submit a request with the subject “Delete my account.” We’ll verify ownership and permanently delete what we store (your account email and any support tickets). Deletions are completed within 30 days.

Do you store my location data?

No. We never store your location (GPS) data on our servers. Location is processed on your device solely to compute mileage and is not transmitted to us.

What data does eZpZ 360 keep on its servers?

Only what’s necessary to run the service: your account email and support tickets. We do not store your expenses, receipts, mileage, or location history.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Use the in‑app Settings to export CSV/PDF reports. Because your financial data lives on your device, exports are generated locally and under your control.

How long are records kept?

eZpZ 360 does not store your expense, mileage, or tax records on our servers — those live on your device (and any optional backup you choose). We only retain your account email and support tickets, which you can request to delete at any time via the Contact Support tab. For your personal tax documentation, many professionals recommend keeping your own copies for up to 7 years — that recommendation applies to you, not to our servers.
